What's the print quality like? Will my design crack or fade after washing?
We take print quality seriously — because nobody wants a faded swim shirt after three washes. Our apparel is produced using high-quality direct-to-garment (DTG) and screen-print methods designed to hold up to repeated washing. To keep your gear looking sharp, wash inside-out in cold water and tumble dry on low. Avoid bleach and ironing directly over the print. Treat it right and it'll outlast your PR by years.
How do your t-shirts, hoodies, and sweatshirts fit? Do they run true to size?
Our apparel generally fits true to size with a comfortable, relaxed athletic cut — great for wearing over a tech suit or lounging at a swim meet. We strongly recommend checking the size chart on each product page before ordering, as fits can vary slightly by style. If you're between sizes, most swimmers prefer sizing up on hoodies and sweatshirts for that cozy post-practice feel. When in doubt, measure up!
How long will it take to receive my order?
Every item in our shop is made to order, so here's the timeline: production takes 2–3 business days, and then shipping takes an additional 3–5 business days. In total, you can expect your order to arrive within approximately 5–8 business days from the date you place it. We'll send you a tracking number as soon as your order ships so you can watch it swim its way to your door.
Can I get my order in time for a swim meet, holiday, or birthday?
Timing is everything in swimming — and in gifting! Please allow the full 5–8 business days (2–3 production + 3–5 shipping) when planning for a specific event. During peak holiday seasons, we recommend ordering at least 10–14 days in advance to be safe. We don't offer guaranteed rush delivery at this time, so plan ahead and you'll be on the podium of gift-giving.
Do you offer customization or personalization on your products?
At this time, our products are sold as designed — we don't currently offer custom name, number, or team-logo personalization on individual orders. However, our designs are crafted to speak directly to the swimming community, so there's a strong chance you'll find something that feels made just for you. Stay tuned — we're always adding new swimmer-specific designs to the shop!
What's your return and refund policy?
Because every item is made to order just for you, we don't accept returns or exchanges for size changes or buyer's remorse — so please double-check that size chart! However, if your item arrives damaged, defective, or with a print error, we absolutely want to make it right. Contact us at [email protected] within 30 days of delivery with a photo of the issue and we'll send a replacement or issue a refund in USD. Your satisfaction is our finish line.
How should I wash and care for my swimming shirt or hoodie?
Your SwimGear Co apparel has survived the design process — now help it survive the laundry room! Wash inside-out in cold water on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry on low heat or hang to dry. Do not bleach, dry clean, or iron directly over the printed design. Following these steps will keep your colors vibrant and your design crisp for the long haul. Chlorine in the pool is fine. Bleach in the wash? Not so much.
